Excellent little small town diner. $10.00 each for lunch. Much better quality than going to a fast food place for not that much more.
Service was amazing. I cannot remember the young gentleman's name but he deserves a raise. We came in very late, there was 7 of us who just traveled from DC area. The food was yummy and there was plenty of it.
Food good, service decent. Locals, probably regular's, openly talking across tables to others spouting conservative rhetoric. No heads turned when one called NFL football players "monkeys". Was pretty much like eating in a den of hate, would avoid.
We stopped in here to take a break from a long drive, and the food was better than I would have expected. The chicken soup tasted homemade, as did the extremely tasty crab cake sandwich. Nice staff as well.
French toast was great but the rest of the plate was either bland or burnt. Service was awful, but I think our waitress was new...very new. She definitely needs more training. Also, only thing waitress who waits on your table can check you out...which can be troublesome if the place is busy and you want to get back on the road.
